Media Infrastructure – We Broadcast FM

Since 2018, the aeos Group has been active in FM antenna infrastructure through its subsidiary aeos Infrastruktur GmbH, providing a key component of analogue radio broadcasting in Germany.


Our Entry into the Market: A Strong and Visible Presence

In 2018, we took a significant step by acquiring a three-digit number of FM antenna installations from Media Broadcast GmbH in Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and North Rhine-Westphalia. Until its successful sale in 2024, our flagship asset was the FM installation at the Berlin Television Tower, which broadcast a substantial share of Berlin's radio programming.

By acquiring a substantial portfolio from an investor with whom we have a close relationship, we more than doubled our coverage in 2024. We have since also operated FM broadcasting infrastructures in Hesse, Saxony and Baden-Württemberg.

In addition to operating our own installations, we provide commercial management of FM infrastructures for investors in Germany and abroad. In total, more than 50 radio programme providers use antenna infrastructures that we either operate or manage professionally.
