Investments in tangible assets

The term “tangible assets” refers to investment assets that can be “touched”. Often, these tangible assets have a relatively high value, such as real estate or wind farms.

Investments in tangible assets differ from purely financial assets in that the tangible assets must be actively managed. As a rule, a whole bundle of different contracts is attached to each tangible asset. These contracts result in the ongoing income and costs of the respective asset. In addition, ongoing technical monitoring and maintenance measures are often necessary to ensure the operational function of the respective tangible asset.

The efficient and economically successful management of a tangible asset portfolio requires extensive knowledge, resources, and a high investment of time. Since not all investors are able or willing to do this, we at aeos Group are happy to take on these tasks for our clients. Internationally, the term “asset management” is commonly used for our services. In German, on the other hand, the term “Betriebsführung” is often used.
