aeos energy is an asset manager and investor specialising in German real assets.
We were founded in 2007 and operate in the business segments renewable energy (wind power and solar energy), media & communication infrastructure, and real estate.
As professional asset managers, we support our clients in the acquisition, ongoing asset management, and sale of their German real assets.
In the investment field we operate our own wind power, solar energy and media infrastructure assets. We also regularly co-invest with our clients, e.g. currently in a communication infrastructure company.
Our clients range from non-German institutional investors to local private investors from Germany.

Solar Energy
Our subsidiary aeos services GmbH is the technical operator of more than 100 German solar assets, ranging from small rooftop installations to multiple megawatt free-space solar farms. Our scope of services includes: M&A-advisory for the acquisition or divesture of German solar plants; Ongoing monitoring and technical management of solar plants (including cutting of grass and bushes and cleaning of the modules), Repowering and/or repair of low-performing assets with state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) modules and inverters, Project development and construction of new solar plants and Commercial management of larger solar plants. Our development pipeline currently comprises more than 10 MW of German solar assets (both larger PPA-plants and smaller assets which receive a feed-in-tariff).
Media and Communication Infrastructure
Our subsidiary aeos infrastructure GmbH manages more than 600 FM radio transmission antennas throughout Germany. Around 110 of these antennas are owned by the aeos group. Our most notable assets in this field are the radio antenna installations on top of Berlin’s TV tower. These VHF broadcasting infrastructures broadcast programs of over 20 local, regional and national radio stations to more than 3 million listeners in the Berlin area. We are also invested in AXESS Networks, a global satellite communication provider.
Real estate
Our subsidiary aeos immobilien GmbH is a property management company based in the Ruhr Metropolitan area, Germany, which is active throughout North Rhine Westphalia from the Ruhr area up to the region of Düsseldorf and Cologne. We manage apartment buildings and commercial properties for local and international investors and we administer a large number of condominiums in the region. Our team communicates with international investors in English and French language and we support our investors in the acquisition, financing and sales of German real estate. aeos immobilien GmbH holds the relevant public licenses to act as property manager and as real estate agents.
