Our History – Building the Future on Experience
The history of the aeos Group began in 2007, when Guido Fiebes founded the business in Berlin as a specialist investment company managing the German portfolio of an international financial investor. During this initial phase, our activities were confined to wind energy, petroleum storage terminals and biodiesel production, with an exclusive focus on this one client.
2014 marked the beginning of a new chapter. By acquiring two established regional businesses in the Rhine–Ruhr region, we expanded into solar energy and real estate, laying the foundations for the Group's current profile.
In 2018, we took the next strategic step by entering the media infrastructure sector. Our investment in this business area has since become the Group's principal source of revenue.
Today, the aeos Group has offices in Langenfeld (Rhineland) and Ennepetal (Ruhr region), as well as a recently established third office in Solingen. The aeos Group maintains an extensive network in Germany and internationally.

What do real estate, solar parks and media infrastructure have in common? They are all real assets – tangible investments with physical substance and a long useful life.
Unlike conventional financial investments, real assets are more than figures on paper. They require active management, encompassing technical, commercial and strategic responsibilities. Every solar park, building and FM broadcasting installation involves a range of contracts, recurring income and costs. Regular servicing, technical monitoring and maintenance are also essential to ensure stable operation over the long term.
